NOW BOOKING - Mummy and Me Special Edition

For past clients and those who may have followed me over the years, you would know that Mummy and Me sessions are something that I LOVE to do. I just think as Mothers we are always the ones taking the photos and aren’t in them enough.

I am excited to introduce some special limited edition special Mummy and Me studio sessions. Coming for March 2023. And as many of you probably have seen as we are selling our home and studio this really limits the amount of time I can offer any studio type sessions.

But what are these Limited Edition Mummy and Me sessions?

The idea being bringing your daughters (or sons) in to play dress ups in your wedding dress or Dad’s suit etc. Not only will they love it, how special will it be down the track when it is time for them to get married and you can gift them a framed photo of younger self dressed up? I know I WISH I had this of my daughters when they were little.

I can just imagine having one of these beautiful framed images to gift to your girl on her wedding day! How magical.

These sessions are designed for Mothers and one child only to create that real bonding experience. BUT I am happy to discuss any changes to this. For full sessions we can be more flexible as we have more time.

This could be done in a dress other than a wedding dress for those who love the idea but are not married but the idea is to keep it personal using personal items and obviously a dress like a wedding dress has such a special meaning behind it. But open to interpretations of that.

Clients will be asked to bring along -

Item to play dress up in like a wedding dress or suit etc
Any items they would like to incorporate. If you have shoes from the day, your jewellery. A photo of yourself in the dress could be a nice addition.

Session Types

There will be two types of sessions available for this.

A ‘mini’ or shorter version and a longer version. Dates will be set dates only for our shorter versions as we like to book back to back sessions for the day and held in March 2023.

Full sessions will have more flexibility with dates throughout April.

Benefits of a Full session -

The additional cost of a full session not only adds in a planning call and additional shooting time and flexibility of dates, you receive the additional money you pay for your session fee as credit so you can purchase some of our beautiful products or upgrade and or add more digital images.

We will have a selection of upgrades available including products and all inclusive packages and pre purchase bonuses.

What Age is Suitable?

It will be up the client to decide on if their child is of a suitable age. The little girl shown is only two but loves to play dress ups so was excited to play along. I would think that two would be one of the youngest suitable ages but there is no cut off on age. Obviously if your child is older it could be something you take to them about if you aren’t sure if they are too old or not to see if they are excited or like my daughter at 15 would be mortified by the thought ;) All kids are so different though so that is totally your decision.

Have more than one child????

We still suggest only bringing one child at a time per session time so you can have that one on one bonding so you would want two seperate time slots/days. However for Full sessions we can be more flexible with this as time allows. We do notice a difference between sessions when multiple siblings are included however we still have a beautiful outcome.
